Delhi police comes across 'suspicious electronic device', during verification
Delhi Police has recovered a suspicious electronic device from a shop during verification in Palika Bazaar, reports ANI. This suspicious electronic device is working like a mobile network jammer. The verification of this device is being done. Selling any type of mobile network jammer is illegal. At present, after verification of the device, legal action will be taken against the shopkeeper, says Delhi Police.
According to initial assessments, the seized device operates similarly to a mobile network jammer, a tool capable of blocking cellular signals within a specific range. Network jammers are often used to prevent mobile communications by interfering with radio frequencies that cell phones rely on to function. However, these devices are tightly regulated due to their potential impact on public and private communication networks, and their sale is illegal without special authorization.
