Delhi Government Clarifies Fraudulent Claims About ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana’

Delhi

The Women and Child Development Department of the Delhi Government has issued a public notice debunking claims about a scheme offering ₹2100 per month to women under the so-called 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana'.

The department clarified that no such scheme has been notified by the government. In the notice, published in national newspapers, the department stated: "It is emphasized that no such scheme exists. Therefore, the acceptance of forms or applications for registration under this non-existent scheme does not arise."

The department warned that any individual or political party collecting forms, applications, or personal information under the pretext of this scheme is committing fraud.

Citizens have been advised to remain cautious and refrain from sharing their personal information or submitting forms related to this scheme.

The statement comes in response to media reports and social media posts claiming that a political party is promoting the scheme, leading to confusion among the public. The government has urged people to report such fraudulent activities to the authorities to ensure accountability.

This clarification underscores the importance of verifying information and schemes directly with official government channels to avoid falling victim to scams.
