Punjab police claims to have busted a cross-border heroin smuggling racket. Police has in the meantime recovered 12 kg heroin.
DGP Punjab Police Gaurav Yadav informed that State Special Operation Cell in Amritsar has busted a cross-border heroin smuggling racket and arrested one person and recovered 12 Kg Heroin.
“Drones were used to transport drugs from Pakistan. Arrested person is having direct links with infamous drug smuggler Ranjeet alias Cheeta who was arrested in May 2020 for 532 Kg Heroin haul & his brother Sarwan S alias Bhola operating from USA.” it was informed.
