In Bijnor's Nangal area, a large crocodile emerged from a pond and wandered onto the village streets. The sight of the crocodile on the roads caused quite a stir, drawing a crowd of onlookers. The presence of the crocodile outside homes led to panic among the villagers. Upon receiving the information, a forest department team arrived and captured the crocodile, releasing it back into the river area.

Early Wednesday morning, following rainfall, a seven-foot-long crocodile was spotted in the Tankiwala neighborhood of Nangal Soti. Residents were alarmed when they saw the crocodile outside their homes. Their shouts drew more villagers to the scene. The villagers notified the forest department team, and in the meantime, they managed to tie the crocodile with ropes.

The villagers believe the crocodile came from a nearby pond and entered the residential area at some point. Forest officials, including Forester Rahul Giri and forest workers Bablu and Anuj Shukla, arrived at the scene and relocated the crocodile to the river area. This incident in Nangal Soti village of Bijnor lasted for hours as the crocodile roamed the village streets. The forest department has since rescued the crocodile, and a video of the event has also surfaced.
