Congress 'Nyay Yatra' continues, former Chief Minister to join prominent leaders

Participants of the Congress party's "Nyay Yatra" in Chhattisgarh march through the village of Rohanshi, with former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel leading a group of 1,000 workers from Youth Congress, NSUI, and Seva Dal to address public concerns about state governance.

The Congress party's "Nyay Yatra" in Chhattisgarh has entered its third day today. The journey will cover a distance of 30 kilometers, starting from the village of Rohanshi and concluding in the village of Bhaisa, as it enters the Raipur district. Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will also participate in this leg of the journey, alongside 1,000 dedicated workers from the Youth Congress, NSUI, and Seva Dal who are walking together.The Nyay Yatra aims to raise awareness among the public about the failures of the state government. According to state Congress president Deepak Baij, the journey is sending a strong message to the people, with communities along the route eagerly awaiting its arrival. The objective is to restore peace in the state, especially following recent violent incidents, such as the murder of three members of the Sahu community in Kawardha.In terms of security for the journey, over 500 police personnel have been deployed. Additional SP Hemasagar Sidar and various DSPs and inspectors are accompanying the march to ensure safety. A bomb squad team has also conducted thorough checks along the route prior to the Yatra's passage.Prominent figures participating in this event include PCC Chief Deepak Baij, former Congress president Mohan Markam, in-charge General Secretary Malkeet Singh Gaidu, and several MLAs among others. The march is a significant political mobilization effort aimed at addressing key issues facing Chhattisgarh.
