Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, to hoist national tricolour, in Raipur
On August 15, Independence Day, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will hoist the flag and take the salute at the main ceremony at the Police Parade Ground in Raipur at 9 AM. Union Minister Tokhan Sahu will perform the flag hoisting ceremony at the district headquarters of Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao will do so in Bilaspur, while Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma will conduct the ceremony in Bastar. The General Administration Department has released a list of chief guests for the flag hoisting ceremonies on Independence Day.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will preside over the ceremony in Rajnandgaon, Minister Ramvichar Netam in Surguja, Minister Dayaldas Baghel in Mahasamund, Minister Kedar Kashyap in Durg, Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan in Korba, Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal in Balodabazar-Bhatapara, Minister O.P. Choudhary in Janjgir-Champa, Minister Lakshmi Rajwade in Balrampur-Ramanujganj, and Minister Tank Ram Verma at the district headquarters in Sarangarh-Bilai.
Members of Parliament (MPs) will also be participating in the Independence Day celebrations. MP Brijmohan Agrawal will be in Gariaband, MP Vijay Baghel in Balod, MP Santosh Pandey in Khairagarh-Gandai-Chhui Khadan, MP Chintamani Maharaj in Jashpur, MP Roopkumari Chaudhary in Bemetra, MP Radheshyam Rathia in Raigarh, MP Kamlesh Jangde in Sakti, MP Mahesh Kashyap in Dantewada, MP Bhojraj Nag in Kanker, and MP Devendra Pratap Singh in Narayanpur.
MLAs will also conduct flag hoisting in their respective areas: MLA Punnu Lal Mohle in Mungeli, Dharam Lal Kaushik in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Amar Agrawal in Kabirdham, Ajay Chandrakar in Dhamtari, Bhayyalal Rajwade in Surajpur, Vikram Usendi in Bijapur, Rajesh Munat in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, and Kiran Dev in Sukma district headquarters. MLA Renuka Singh will hoist the flag in Korea, and Ms. Lata Usendi will do so in Kondagaon district headquarters.
