Raipur, December 11, 2024: Madheshwar Hill in Jashpur district, Chhattisgarh, has earned global recognition as the world's largest natural replica of a Shivling. This remarkable achievement has been officially recorded in the Golden Book of World Records under the title "Largest Natural Facsimile of Shivling."
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai congratulated the people of Chhattisgarh, calling it a landmark accomplishment for the state's tourism sector. He described it as a new chapter in enhancing the state's global recognition as a unique tourist destination.
Golden Book Recognition
Representatives from the Golden Book of World Records, Hemal Sharma and Amit Soni, presented the certification to Chief Minister Sai at his office in the state secretariat. Several key ministers, including Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Industry Minister Lakhanlal Devangan, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, and Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade, were present to commemorate the occasion.

This recognition follows another significant milestone for Jashpur, which was recently featured on the popular travel website EaseMyTrip.com.
