Chhattisgarh Weather Alert: Cyclone Effect to Shift Climate in Two Days

Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh is set to experience a change in weather patterns due to the influence of a cyclone forming near Tamil Nadu. According to the local meteorological department, the state will witness a shift in the direction of the cold and dry northerly winds in two days, leading to an increase in humidity and cloud cover across the region.

Dr. Gayatri Vani, a meteorologist in Raipur, indicated that the cyclonic system would cause significant changes, including the presence of light clouds that will linger in the skies. This shift is expected to cause a rise in the minimum temperatures by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.

As of now, the coolest recorded temperature in the state has been 8.2 degrees Celsius in Balrampur, with Bilaspur experiencing a minimum of 13 degrees Celsius on November 27. However, temperatures are expected to remain stable in the next two days before the anticipated increase.

Additionally, light rainfall is predicted in parts of southern Chhattisgarh between November 29 and December 1, as the cyclonic influence deepens. Residents and authorities are advised to stay updated on weather developments and prepare for slight shifts in the climatic conditions over the coming days.
