Logistics and power sector giants expressed interest in leveraging Chhattisgarh’s strategic location and strong infrastructure, signaling plans for substantial investments.

Transforming Bastar and Naya Raipur

The Chief Minister highlighted opportunities in Bastar and Naya Raipur, regions witnessing rapid development. Bastar, once synonymous with Left-Wing Extremism (LWE), is now emerging as a hub for industrial and tourism projects. The Union Home Ministry recently declared Bastar and Kondagaon districts free from LWE, reinforcing the government’s commitment to fostering peace and growth.

This summit follows Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s announcement that the central and state governments aim to eradicate Maoism from Chhattisgarh by March 31, 2026, paving the way for its transformation into an industrial and tourism powerhouse.
