Chhattisgarh govt concerned aboutt Padma Vibhushan Teejan Bai, assigns team of doctors
The Chhattisgarh government has assigned a team of doctors, physiotherapists, and auxiliary nurse midwives (ANMs) to regularly monitor the health of Padma Vibhushan awardee and renowned Pandwani singer Teejan Bai. This directive was issued by the Chief Medical and Health Officer of the district. Teejan Bai, who has been suffering from paralysis for the past year, is undergoing treatment at her residence in Ganiyari.
Following the death of her son a year ago, Teejan Bai has been unable to stand on her own due to the shock and subsequent health issues. In response to her deteriorating condition, the government has expedited her treatment process. Previously, during Bhupesh Baghel's tenure as Chief Minister, Baghel had personally called Teejan Bai upon hearing of her illness, leading to the initiation of her treatment.
Now, under the current BJP government, a team of doctors and physiotherapists has been assigned to ensure her regular care and health monitoring. Her recent health status continues to be a matter of concern for her admirers.
