The government in Chhattisgarh is now set to handover the case of Bhuneshwar Sahu, hailing from Biranpur in Bemetara district, to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The state government had only yesterday allowed CBI to operate in Chhattisgarh as the previous Congress government had barred the agency.
The case of Bhuneshwar Sahu became so high profile that the BJP fielded his father, Ishwar Sahu, from the Saja constituency and he won remarkably.
There were reports of communal angle in the murder of Bhuneshwar Sahu and it created quite an uproar in the whole of the majority community.
