BSNL 5G soon to be launched, consumers keen after other telcos raise recharge tariff
After private telecom companies Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea raised their recharge plan prices, people have started to place their trust in BSNL. In a major development, it has been confirmed that BSNL is set to launch 5G services. This is great news for those eagerly awaiting BSNL 5G.
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia personally tested the 5G technology. He visited the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) and made a video call using 5G technology. The minister tested the 5G network's capabilities himself.
Following Jyotiraditya Scindia's 5G testing, it is now evident that BSNL 5G will soon be available to the public. This development poses a challenge for private telecom companies. The Union Minister shared a video of himself making a video call on the BSNL 5G network on his official X handle. In the video's caption, he mentioned trying out a video call on a BSNL 5G-enabled phone and tagged BSNL India.
Despite the price hikes from private telecom operators, government-owned BSNL is still providing services at old rates. While there may be issues with frequent call drops and slow internet speeds, BSNL is now testing its 5G services. The company has yet to fully roll out its 4G services but is preparing for the 5G launch.
Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia shared a clip showcasing BSNL's 5G services, highlighting a video call made via BSNL 5G. Recently, BSNL has seen an increase in its subscriber base. Scindia shared the video clip on X, stating, "Connecting India! Tried BSNL 5G-enabled phone call today".
