In Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh, the Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP state president Samrat Choudhary

In Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh, the Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP state president Samrat Choudhary is planning for darshan of Lord Ram and to devote his turban to the feet of the deity.

"Lord Ram and Ma Jaanki have an unbreakable relationship. Bihar and UP are like a family and both have an important contribution to the nation building", he said. The BJP leader had vowed to remove his turban only after de-throning Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, then part of ruling Mahagathbandhan alliance in Bihar. But it so happened that Nitish Kumar prior to Lok Sabha election, decided to seek support from BJP and form government.

Now again, Nitish Kumar's party JD(U) is a crucial ally of the BJP in keeping Modi 3.0 at the centre and thus it is likely that BJP would continue to project him as next CM of Bihar in 2025 state election. Thus Samrat Chaudhary may have decided that he should devote his turban at the feet of deity Ram in Ayodhya.

Speaking on Congress leader and Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi's remark in the Parliament, he says, "It's unfortunate, only a mentally ill person can say such things."
