Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that the biggest patriotism will be to remove BJP from power in 2024.
“They had got a historic majority in 2014 and 2019 if they wanted, they could have brought tremendous progress to the country but failed…”, he told a gathering.
While addressing the volunteers of the New Delhi constituency, he added, “…Earlier everyone said that there is no option. But now since the formation of the INDIA alliance people have started saying that if the INDIA alliance survives then their (opposition) government will not be formed in 2024…” .
Political analysts view these statements in context of the fact that many senior AAP leaders are facing corruption charges and the expansion of the party to other states has taken a hit, so Arvind Kejriwal might now be pinning his hopes from combined strength of grand opposition alliance to take on BJP.
