**Chhattisgarh Government's Ongoing Effort to Strengthen Healthcare Services Under the Leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai**

**New Appointment Orders for 83 Medical Officers in Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, and Sarguja Divisions**

Raipur, 1st December 2024 – As part of his ongoing efforts to bolster the state's healthcare system, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has directed a comprehensive initiative to strengthen healthcare services across Chhattisgarh. Under the leadership of Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, the government has issued appointment orders for 83 new medical officers in the state, effective immediately.

These appointments come in response to the need for adequate human resources to ensure efficient healthcare delivery. The medical officers have been appointed in various rural and urban Primary Health Centers (PHCs), Community Health Centers (CHCs), and District Hospitals across the Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur, and Sarguja divisions.

The newly appointed medical officers will serve in the following areas: -

**Raipur Division**: 31 medical officers -

**Bilaspur Division**: 22 medical officers -

**Durg Division**: 27 medical officers -

**Sarguja Division**: 3 medical officers

This move is expected to significantly improve the accessibility and quality of healthcare services in the state. The new appointments are made under the National Health Mission (NHM), ensuring that healthcare facilities are adequately staffed to cater to the growing demands of the population. Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal emphasized that these appointments will facilitate quicker and more efficient medical interventions, further strengthening the healthcare infrastructure.
