BIG BREAKING, Chhattisgarh Government Hands Over Another Corruption Case to CBI

Raipur: The Chhattisgarh government has transferred another corruption case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). An official notification has been issued, confirming the transfer of FIR No. 49-2024, registered with the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) and Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), to the CBI.
Linked to Liquor Scam
According to officials, the case is linked to the alleged liquor scam in the state. The decision to hand over the investigation to the CBI was made in November, and the necessary formalities were completed following CBI’s approval.
The government’s notification authorizes the CBI to take over the case and proceed with the investigation.
Background
This is not the first instance of a corruption case being handed over to the CBI in Chhattisgarh. The move comes as part of the state government’s efforts to ensure transparency and thorough investigation into high-profile corruption allegations.
The transfer of the case underscores the seriousness of the allegations and the government’s intent to allow the premier investigative agency to take charge of the probe.
