Biden to Present Presidential Medal of Freedom to Hillary Clinton, George Soros, and Others

Washington, D.C.: U.S. President Joe Biden has announced the recipients of the prestigious Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor.
A total of 19 distinguished individuals will be awarded for their exceptional contributions to society, the nation, and the world.
Among the honorees are former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, football legend Lionel Messi, philanthropist and investor George Soros, and the late Ashton Carter, former U.S. Defense Secretary.
The Presidential Medal of Freedom recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the prosperity, values, or security of the United States, as well as world peace or other noteworthy endeavors.
According to the White House, President Biden emphasized that these recipients exemplify qualities of leadership, decency, and a commitment to giving others a fair shot—traits that make both America and the world a better place.
