Bhai Virendra Hits Back at Giriraj Singh’s Remark on Lalu, War of Words Begin

RJD MLA Bhai Virendra has strongly criticized Union Minister Giriraj Singh's recent remark about Lalu Yadav, where Singh suggested that instead of the Bharat Ratna, Lalu should be honored with a 'World Ratna' due to his involvement in corruption scandals.
The comment has sparked a war of words between the BJP and RJD, with both parties fighting over the demand for the Bharat Ratna for their respective leaders.
Controversy Over Bharat Ratna Demands:
The political temperature in Bihar has risen after Giriraj Singh called for Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to be conferred with the Bharat Ratna, a move supported by the BJP and JDU. On the other hand, the RJD has been advocating for their leader, Lalu Yadav, to receive the prestigious award.
In response, Giriraj Singh mocked the suggestion, stating that due to his alleged involvement in several scandals, Lalu Yadav deserved not the Bharat Ratna, but the 'World Ratna.'
Bhai Virendra's Strong Response:
In a sharp rebuttal to Giriraj Singh’s comment, RJD leader Bhai Virendra, during his visit to Begusarai on Thursday, called the Union Minister a fool.
He remarked, "The one who is a fool does not realize his own foolishness. It is the fool who calls others fools. Giriraj Singh was made a minister by BJP to spread hatred. If they are in power, then why are they asking for the Bharat Ratna for Nitish Kumar from whom?"
Bhai Virendra further lashed out, questioning Giriraj Singh's integrity and accused him of using derogatory language.
‘Lalu’s Leadership Cannot Be Replaced’:
Bhai Virendra also expressed that no matter how many times BJP leaders are reborn, they could never produce a leader like Lalu Yadav. He emphasized that the RJD does not pay attention to the statements made by Giriraj Singh and believes such comments are just attempts to provoke and create division.
Giriraj Singh's Statement:
Speaking to the media in Begusarai on Thursday, Union Minister Giriraj Singh had stated, “Lalu Yadav’s involvement in scandals like the fodder scam and the railway scam means he does not deserve the Bharat Ratna. Instead, he should be awarded the ‘World Ratna.’ Due to these scams, he even deserves a prize from the United Nations.” This statement has only fueled further controversy and added more tension to the ongoing political debate in Bihar.
