Amid mounting criticism from rival political parties on the uncontrolled pollution, the Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai has now written to Union Minister Bhupender Yadav and urged for “effective ban the entry of vehicles non-compliant of BS VI norms into Delhi from neighbouring states and also to ban such vehicles in NCR”.
He also requested him to convene an emergent meeting of neighbouring states’ Environment Ministers.
