Former Chief Minister raises questions, after naxal attack claimed two security personnel

Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has questioned the state government on the issue of naxalism and attitude towards the tribals. He said to the media, "Our jawans are continuously fighting against Naxals for our security... sacrificing their lives. I empathize deeply with their families. However, it is necessary to point out the government's behaviour, as there are complaints about falsely accusing and arresting Adivasi people under the pretext of Naxalism. Such incidents have been repeatedly reported, which was never seen before in our governance. BJP's perspective towards tribals can be seen through this."
This comes after a naxal attack which left four STF jawans injured while two personnel were killed in action. Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai reacted to the incident saying, "In yesterday's IED blast, four jawans were injured and 2 jawans were martyred. I bow down before the supreme sacrifice made by the two martyred jawans. I was in Delhi with both the Deputy CMs and today I reached the hospital directly from the airport. All 4 jawans are out of danger and recovering."
The BJP government claims to have cracked down on the red rebels to be able to ensure all round development of the area.
