Amid threat of escalation in West Asia, PM Modi talks UAE President and British premiere

Amid the world concerned that Russia Ukraine conflict has not slowed down and now Israel Hamas war could be escalating thereby adding to food and fuel costs, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held telephonic conversations with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and British premiere Rishi Sunak.

The three leaders emphasized that terrorism is an issue of concern for world and that it is unacceptable but added that security situation in the region needs to improve for lasting peace in West Asia.

The three leaders also insisted on the need to continue humanitarian assistance to the trapped Gazans.
