“Despite our efforts through peaceful protests and sit-ins to draw the attention of authorities, their response has been consistent with deploying new pressure tactics. Now, the Prime Minister, who is the chief executive of the Republic, has openly started threatening us by labeling peaceful protesters as terrorist sympathizers”, she wrote on X.

“We are in Islamabad since December 20th, all government institutions have proven ineffective in curbing enforced disappearances and arresting and punishing the murderers of Balaach Mula Bakhsh, who was extrajudicially killed by CTD in Turbat. With no effective alternatives, turning to international bodies like the United Nations appears to be our only option now and nobody can stop us from going to the UN office located in Islamabad”, she added.

Baloch women marched over 1,000 kilometers from Pakistan’s Balochistan to the capital, Islamabad, to protest against extrajudicial killings and disappearances. Here is another of the video of Dr Mahrang Baloch speaking about what she called the “Genocide” against the Baloch people.
