Congress workers resorted to reciting of Hanuman Chalisa outside the residence of party’s state chief Kamal Nath and demanded that the candidate from Huzur Assembly constituency be changed.
One of the Congress worker told media, “…We were praying to Lord Hanuman from the beginning for Kamal Nath to become the Chief Minister. But the distribution of tickets were not done as per the survey. We came to Kamal Nath seeking a change of candidate for Huzur constituency. We recited Hanuman Chalisa because Kamal Nath will hear us…He has given ticket to a candidate who is on a ventilator. Even if Congress workers give their everything, this candidate will not be able to win. So, we have requested to reconsider this…”.
