In a major mishap, a car belonging to Madhepura DM ran over a woman and her child and subsequently two labourers working by the side of the National Highway.
It is learnt that the car was headed from Darbhanga to Madhepura when the accident took place in Foolparas police station limits.

There are also reports of some people receiving injuries in the mishap and who have been referred to the hospital for better medical care.
People present around were so furious that they staged gherao of the car and vandalized it as well. It is learnt that the car driver fearing for his life fled the scene leaving the vehicle behind.
