Man made to undress, walk around on road, for failing to return borrowed money, after video went viral, police acts

A video gone viral shows the extent to which degradation has creeped into the society. A petty garlic trader in Noida was first beaten up and then made to roam around on road totally nude for he had failed to return Rs 3000 that he borrowed earlier.

It emerged that while the commuters watched the helplessness of the trader, none stepped upto help him from his ordeal.

Police sources, citing the victim trader’s complaint, explained that he sells garlic at Phase-II Mandi area and had borrowed meager amount of Rs 5600 from wholesale businessman named Sundar.

But the victim returned only Rs 2600 while promising to come up with remaining money soon enough. But the wholeseller was apparently not content with this assurance and began to thrash the small time trader.

But then he also made him to undress and walk on the road among the passing by people and this video subsequently went viral after which police nabbed Sundar.
