‘…discussions on upcoming state elections…’ what Congress chief revealed about CWC agenda

Ahead of the CWC meeting in Hyderabad, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge told media, “This is the first CWC meeting after I took charge as the party president. An extended working committee meeting will also take place tomorrow where discussions related to the party will be done. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and all senior leaders will be present in the meeting and have discussions regarding the upcoming elections in 5 states and plan accordingly. Discussions on the alliance (INDIA) will be done in the next meeting with our partners of the alliance.”

Congress leader Dr Ajoy Kumar shared, “There are many agendas for the meeting like Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections, relating to the organisation, Manipur, China, inflation, unemployment and others…I want to thank party president Mallikarjun Kharge and Revanth Reddy for organising the CWC meet and a big rally here. The senior leaders will visit every assembly seat. This is a unique initiative…”.

Thiruvananthpuram MP and Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said, “…We hope that the elections are in the usual time which is six to nine months away. But it’s also possible that the government might advance the elections as we’ve been hearing and we need to be prepared sooner rather than later…”.
