A Muslim girl by the name of Rukhsar turned Rukmani to marry a Hindu man in the village temple. But there is quite a tense situation in the village and local administration has ensure heavy police deployment to prevent hostilities.
Local sources informed that the case is of Mohiddipur Sadwa village within Sarai Akil police station limits. The girl, aged 20, was in love with neighbour Ravi Gupta and eloped with him this past Aug 27. But the girl’s father filed a complaint against three men alleging that the daughter is minor.
While the police soon enough recovered the girl, and produced her before the court, she gave a statement of being in love with neighbour and that she is now an adult.
After this, the court allowed the two to get married. Some of the Hindu organizations then took the couple to a local Shiv temple where the marital union was sanctified. Local police deployed forces to prevent any hostilities but since the girl admitted to be in love with Ravi, no one could intervene.
