Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging him to declare the natural calamity triggered due to the floods and landslides in Himachal Pradesh as a National Disaster.

It need be mentioned that Himachal Pradesh is currently ruled by Congress and even in the past, such demands have been raised since the damage has been extensive in the past months due to the rainfall.
