In poll bound Chhattisgarh, social media is debating if the Prime Minister Modi erroneously claimed that the state successfully hosted the G 20 meet when a program under the international banner is to be held later this month.

The ruling Congress and supporting accounts on platform X have been making fun claiming that the Prime Minister should have been briefed better.
But the Press Information Bureau Factcheck has come out explaining that the social media on the Prime Minister claiming on G 20 meet is not erroneous at all.
The agency has cited that a consultative programme was held in IIM Raipur under the banner of Y 20 in February of this year and thus Prime Minister Modi is right in claiming that the state has once hosted the event under the prestigious banner of G 20 as Y 20 officially belongs to this format of multinational interaction.
