Congress MLA Mamman Khan has been arrested and is to be produced before the court today. He was named as an accused in the communal clashes that erupted in Nuh of Haryana.

Police in Haryana is of the view that there is ample evidence that he is involved in the violence that erupted after the Vishwa Hindu Parishad took out a religious procession.
It is learnt that Mamman Khan is a Congress MLA from Ferozepur Jhirka and had approached Punjab and Haryana High Court seeking protection from arrest.
Sources close to him revealed that he was not in Nuh when the violence broke out but the police claims that they have ample evidence to support their move for arrest.
It need be mentioned that VHP on July 31 led a religious procession that came under attack from mobs in Haryana’s Nuh and it resulted in six deaths while many were left injured.
