It was a chance meet between West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Dubai airport. While the two met cordially, the President had some question in mind that he could not help and asked.
A viral video of the meeting shows that Sri Lankan leader asks the West Bengal CM if she is going to lead the grand opposition alliance against the formidable BJP and its leader Narendra Modi.
To this, the Chief Minister laughs heartily and then replies, ‘Oh my God’ and then added “it depends on the people”. During the interaction, West Bengal CM invited the island nation’s leader to the state business summit while the President Wickeremesinghe too invited her to visit his country.
