As the stalemate continues over the announcement of candidates by two main political parties, namely, Congress and BJP, there is now hope that the saffron party may relent and issue yet another list of candidates as early as middle of this September month.

BJP sources say that the list might be issued after the Prime Ministerial public meeting in Raigarh on Sept 14. They say that PM Modi has convened a meeting of party’s central election committee on Tuesday (Sept 12) late night and the likelihood is that the names of second list could get the final approval today itself.
BJP, which under Modi-Shah combine is known to be able to maintain its own secrecy should it want it, shocked the Chhattisgarh politics by issuing the first list of 21 candidates on Aug 17 itself. Though the list was on assembly seats where the party has not won in the recent assembly elections. Former IAS, Neelkanth Tekam too is near certainty to be fielded by the saffron party in Keshkal assembly seat.
It is learnt that while most of Chhattisgarh senior leaders are to reach Delhi today itself, Union Home Minister Amit Shah would also be heading back to Delhi after offering of prayers at the Danteshwari temple and flagging off Parivartan Yatra as mass outreach program.
The seats to be declared this time also belongs to the category where the saffron party has been losing once or twice.
