It is near certain now that Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Dantewada for flagging off Parivartan Yatra has been cancelled.
Party sources now claim that Union Minister Smriti Irani could now be fielded instead. While no reason has been cited for the cancellation of Amit Shah’s visit, it is said that bad weather forced the cancellation as the airplane could not take off.
It need be mentioned that there is possibility of a BJP central election committee meet in Delhi today headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. There are speculations that over two dozen seats may be under consideration and could be announced post approval tomorrow itself.
The seats are likely to be in the category where the saffron party has not won either once or twice in the assembly election.
