In one of the unexpected development, the Canadian premiere remains stuck in India despite the G 20 summit meet conclusion as his airplane developed technical snag and thus could not take to air.
Trudeau was scheduled to leave India by Sunday night but his aircraft that is maintained by Canadian air force could not resolve the technical snag overnight and thus the country’s leader had to spend more time in India.
Canadian media reports that this is not the first time that the premiere’s airplane has developed a snag while overseas.
The Canadian Prime Minister’s Office said that it was alerted about the airplane’s issue as the delegation was about to depart for the airport.
Trudeau’s presence at the G 20 was low profile by any stretch of imagination and he met the Indian leader Narendra Modi, the talks, as per media reports, revolved more around the complaints that the two had of each other rather than looking forward to achieving something big.
