An Assistant Sub Inspector of Police performing duty at the busy Fafadih chowk of Raipur in Chhattisgarh spotted a bag lying unclaimed.

On examination, he found the bag to contain close to ten thousand rupees in addition to many other documents that helped ascertain the identity of the owner. It was a Saturday evening and accompanied by constable Sandeep Sahu, the decision was made to make a call to the owner of the bag to come and claim it.
The bag owner, Navratn Agrawal, a resident of Choubey Colony, was summoned to claim the bag and whats inside of it. But for the two police personnel, it may have been another day of the duty, but the story got out and soon it reached the Raipur Traffic SP Sachindra Choubey, who decided to felicitate the two police personnel for their honesty at the job and also because the incident creates goodwill for the police department among the masses.
