The Chhattisgarh government’s General Administration Department has issued circular in compliance to the CM Bhupesh Baghel’s announcement that those accused of rape and molestation would not land government jobs in the state.
The circular to this effect has been sent to the government departments, Divisional Commissioners and District Collectors for compliance. The circular states that applicant convicted for crimes against women will not be eligible for the government job.
Likewise, the applicant who is accused and the case is pending in a court of law, his appointment will be kept in abeyance till a final court order.
