A woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut has alleged that her husband concealed his HIV infection prior to the marriage. This led to the wife too getting infected.
The case is of Pallavpuram police station limits where the father of the woman alleged that he got his daughter married to man back in year 2021 to a man within Jani police station limits. The father claimed to have spent lakhs in the marriage.
He said that though the woman was not happy in the marriage and was being tortured in the name of dowry, she withstood it to save her marriage.
But now it emerged, says the father of the woman, that the groom suffers HIV infection and has infected wife as well. He went on to allege that the woman is not being looked after for here ailment. Meanwhile, the local police has said that they have received complaint about dispute between husband and wife but are probing for the facts of the case.
