A Congress leader was gunned down by unidentified assailants in Dhaulpur of Rajasthan. The crime was caught on cam where it is seen that bike borne assailants first attacked the Mangrol block Congress cheif Mehtaab with sharp edged weapons to pin him down to ground.
The crime took place late on Friday evening. The 50 year old Congress leader was preparing for inauguration of new Patwari office in the area when he came under attack. The bike borne men first attacked the local ruling party leader with axes and while he tried to escape, he was pinned down to the ground and bullets were showered killing him on the spot.
The incident has sparked quite a tension in the area and the local administration has gone in for heavy police deployment to maintain peace and calm. Since the CCTV footage has also gone viral online, it is stirring sentiments all the more.
