As opposition grand alliance is still in works, there seems to be some breakthrough in Karnataka for BJP, which is in opposition in the state.
Speaking to media persons in Bengaluru, former Karnataka CM and BJP veteran BS Yediyurappa confirmed about four seats having already finalized.
He said, “I am happy that Deve Gowda ji met our Prime Minister and they have already finalised about 4 seats. I welcome them…”.
This implies that Congress would go it alone in Karnataka parliamentary seats and the regional party is now in alliance with the BJP.
