Multiple passengers got injured and two died on the spot as a bus rammed into a truck laden with iron rods. The mishap took place on Wednesday late evening on Gonda highway in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh.
Police sources claimed that it was a private bus headed from Lucknow to Gonda that met with this horrible accident near village Bindoura. The incident took place in Musoli police station limits and locals rushed to help the passengers who began crying for help.
Many of the passengers were trapped quite badly and had to be evacuated with difficulty. While the serious ones were taken to the local Community Health Center, the more seriously injured were rushed to the district hospital.
