Afghan fighters cross over into Pakistan, Chitral may have fallen, Pakistan Army suffers severe casualties, situation tense

It appears that Pakistan Army is no match for the TTP fighters aka Pakistan Taliban as reports indicate as many as 11 government soldiers killed and another 40 injured as TTP launches attack on Pakistan Army posts in Chitral since this morning at 4am.

While Pakistan Army claims to have killed 12 TTP terrorists, there is no confirmation to this news yet. There are also unconfirmed reports that as many as 90 Pakistan Army soldiers have been abducted.

Local sources say that Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan have launched attacks on Chitral district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region that borders Afghanistan. It is learnt that TTP militants have had tremendous successes in overrunning several villages and have also taken down resisting government forces.

There are also reports of Torkham border being closed after clashes between Pakistan government forces and TTP fighters along the Durand line.
