US First Lady Jill Biden is confirmed positive for COVID but is said to be experiencing only mild symptoms. But the White House has confirmed that US President Joe Biden has tested negative for COVID.
The President will test at a regular cadence this week and monitor for symptoms, said White house Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. Jill Biden remains at the Biden’s vacation home at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The first couple was staying here over Labor Day weekend.
Whats also been confirmed is that there has been a rise in COVID cases and also in hospitalizations. Concern has grown over the new COVID strain, Pirola and BA.2.86, as this variant poses much higher risk as it has reportedly been causing higher infection across regions.
