In poll bound Chhattisgarh, the opposition BJP is set to reach out to Bastar and Surguja divisions through the ‘Parivartan Yatra’ that would pass through 44 assembly seats in all. The two Parivartan Yatras would commence at Dantewada and Jashpur and would culminate at Bilaspur.
Party sources said that the Parivartan Yatra would commence from Dantewada on Sept 12 to cover 44 assembly seats including that of Bastar and also about a dozen seats in Raipur to conclude in Bilaspur on Sept 28.
Likewise, the second Parivartan Yatra to commence at Jashpur on Sept 16 is to culminate in Bilaspur on Sept 28. BJP is planning a different strategy to cover seven legislative seats that would not get covered in these two Parivartan Yatras.
Whats different this time is that campaign strategy and planning is being done straight from central BJP leadership. Senior party leaders are expected to grace the BJP Parivartan Yatras amid more candidates likely to be announced this week itself.
