A flight attendant was found with her throat slit in her flat in Mumbai’s Andheri area early on Monday morning. The woman has been identified as Rupal Ogrey (24), originally from Raipur’s Rajendra Nagar area.
Mumbai police has registered a case of murder at the Powai police station and four teams have been constituted to nab the culprit. The body has been sent to the Rajawadi hospital for postmortem.
It is learnt that the woman had recently come to Mumbai as trainee flight attendant with Air India. Police sources have revealed that the flat in which she lived was shared by sister and one other boy. The latter two had gone to their native place and thus Rupal was alone.
It is known that the last video call with her family was on Sunday morning and so the police is trying to ascertain who all were near the flat thereafter till Monday.
