In holy city of Ujjain, a book fair is ongoing in Dashhara Maidan where a young man was beaten up by members of Durga Vahini. It so happened that the young man was from minority community and allegedly was asking mobile number of one girl of Hindu community.
The women also alleged that the man was also distributing objectionable content carrying pamphlets.The book fair also has stalls for religious books of different faiths.
The beating came about after the women came to know that he was asking for mobile number of girl from Hindu community. As the matter escalated, police reached the spot and has for now nabbed the young man. Police has assured of probe into the kind of literature and pamphlets that was disbursed by the accused.
