Amid furore over comments from Udhaynidhi Stalin, a Minister and son of Chief Minister MK Stalin, on Sanatan Dharma, an advocate Vineet Jindal has gone ahead and filed a complaint saying that this amounts to hate speech.
Advocate Vineet Jindal told ANI, “…This is an affirmatory and inciting statement and against ‘Sanatana Dharma’. This amounts to hate speech so I have filed a complaint with the Delhi Police Commissioner, Northwest DCP and the Cyber Cell of Delhi Police and we request to lodge an FIR against him under the appropriate sections…The appropriate place for this kind of person is jail. We’ll put our best efforts to send this person behind bars as soon as possible.”
Meanwhile political reactions too are coming thick and fast. BJP is not letting the issue go and seniormost leaders have questioned what the opposition grand alliance intends to do.
