Despite the furore, DMK leader Udhaynidhi Stalin sticks to what he said about Sanatan Dharma in a speech that has gone viral all across the nation.

While Amit Malviya, the BJP leader, shared the video, and alleged if this is a call for genocide of people following Sanatan Dharma, the DMK leader who is also son of Chief Minister MK Stalin, responded saying that he never called for genocide of people.

“I believe, like the spread of diseases like COVID-19, Dengue, and Malaria by mosquitoes, that Sanatan Dharma is responsible for many social evils. I am prepared to confront any challenges that come my way, whether in a court of law or the people’s court. Stop spreading fake news”, he wrote on platform X.

Another account on platform X, Legal Rights Observatory also shared that they are exploring the legal remedies against the DMK leader for his objectionable speech against most ancient religion of the world.

To this too, Udhaynidhi Stalin responded with a ‘Bring it on. I am ready to face any legal challenge. We will not be cowed down by such usual saffron threats. We, the followers of Periyar, Anna, and Kalaignar, would fight forever to uphold social justice and establish an egalitarian society under the able guidance of our Hon’ble CM @mkstalin. I will say it today, tomorrow, and forever: Our resolve to stop Sanathana Dharma from the Dravidian land would not reduce even a bit’.

But the BJP leaders are now questioning the Congress for their stand on this issue because they stand in alliance with the DMK party, especially for 2024 national election.
