Well known Pandwani exponent and Padmashri recipient, Dr Usha Barley formally got inducted into the BJP before Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Minister who was visiting Durg yesterday to oversee election preparations in poll bound Chhattisgarh.
Dr Usha Barley tied Rakhi to the visiting Union Minister and then got adorned by saffron gamccha to formally become member of BJP. Usha Barley belongs to Scheduled Caste community and is likely to be fielded by the party from Ahiwara assembly seat.
Mahettar Verma, who is a senior Congress leader in Patan, the assembly constituency of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, also got inducted into the saffron party before Dr Mandaviya.
