Supreme Court of India sentenced life imprisonment to Bihar politician Prabhunath Singh in a matter pertaining to 1995 double murder case.
The top court also directed for compensation of Rs 10 lakhs each for both deceased and Rs 5 lakhs for injured in the incident.
The Supreme Court had convicted the political figure two weeks back in the 1995 double murder case. Prabhunath Singh was contesting election back in 1995 and eventually was accused of murdering two persons near polling booth in Chhapra for not voting as per his choice.
