In poll bound Chhattisgarh, as the ruling Congress is scrambling to released its first list of candidates even if it consists of names who everybody knows will contest in the upcoming election, a speech from TS Singhdeo, Deputy CM and Congress party’s face in Surguja, has exposed the rift that is still there.
Singhdeo regretted that it was the party workers association with him that prevented their work from getting through in the present government.
He also slammed those who uttered bad words against either his parents or said things way out of line to target him. No compromise can be reached in such cases, he said speaking in Rajpur to his supporters from stage.
Affront to parents is unacceptable and there can be no compromise in such cases. Singhdeo resolved that there also can be no compromise with people who alleged that he is posing life threat to them. Rest is to be decided by people and the party leaders, he said.
Many political analysts are of the view that Singhdeo has expressed his displeasure with the Balrampur and Saamri MLAs.
